House of Brains

“HoB - House of Brains” is a strategic cooperation project run jointly by educational institutes and businesses, intended to improve the skills and knowledge of students so that their abilities are optimised to meet the needs of businesses. It involves 10 partners from four EU countries: Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Spain. The ultimate aim of the project is to implement the HobPlatform, a virtual learning
environment offering highly specialised training courses for graduates. It will be developed by the project partners based on the actual needs of the businesses, concentrating on horizontal skills and spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship, qualities that are widely appreciated by companies and are often underrepresented in educational programmes.

    • 1. Context analysis and mapping of good practices

      A market survey was conducted in each country taking part, plus an analysis of the differences in national approaches to cooperation between universities and businesses, which led to a joint result

      Each university taking part designed at least one specific training programme, following the indications of the scientific committee
