Dual-T

Dual-T is an international strategic cooperation project that offers basic tools for workplace-school training (dual training system) and support actions designed to define a framework for state and regional regulations regarding this type of training, in order to meet the needs of the job market and provide quality training. The key aspects are to ensure that the skills students acquire from their training meet the
skill set contained in the official study curriculum, and to ensure that these skills are described according to the approved European standards so they can easily be recognised by employers without the need to obtain further certifications. The results of the pilot scheme will be collected in a guidebook that will promote a method for delivering dual training within companies.

Objectives

  • Researching and transferring the good practices developed in the various European countries
  • Investigating and defining the key aspects associated with the formation of a dual system
  • Validating training materials with the European system (EuroPass_Eqf) so that the materials are recognised at European level
  • Supporting the development of training policies in dual education, which integrates the skills analysed, the materials developed and the actions proposed to be worked on with tutors, students, companies and training centres
  • Defining a framework for these national and regional regulations in an attempt to achieve a standardised employment market and acquire a guarantee of quality training
  • Contributing to the implementation and definition of national and European systems and policies for dual training
